The Morning Ritual

Citrus blossom, white wood and a faint cedar base. The morning version of the Lueur, brighter, cleaner. Light it while the coffee brews. It changes the room in under a minute.

Stonewashed linen in a warm natural tone. Two towels: one for the bathroom, one for the kitchen. Gets softer with every wash. The kind of thing that makes a sink feel considered.

Hand-thrown in Lagos, fired at high temperature for density. The spout is designed for a slow, even pour. Takes a standard size 2 paper filter. Holds 400ml, enough for two cups done properly.

Mist over the pillow before you rise, or over the bathroom after the shower. White tea and cold mineral. The scent clears within five minutes, leaving the room smelling of nothing, which is its own kind of luxury.

Raw honey harvested from hives kept on the outskirts of Lagos. Thyme flowers added during the cold infusion. Slightly crystallised, deeply flavoured. Eat it with a spoon or stir it into the first cup of the day.
