The Desk

A small collection of objects for the workspace: a ceramic pen rest, a folded linen cloth and a sample of the Aureum Diffuser. Packaged in an unbleached kraft box with a cotton ribbon.

Thrown on the wheel, bisque fired, then glazed in a matte sand finish. Sized for two pens or pencils. Heavier than it looks, which means it stays where you put it.

Linen on one side, natural cork on the other. The cork protects the desk; the linen protects the work. Sits flat without clips. Wipe clean or hand-wash.

Cedar bark and warm amber resin. A scent associated with focus, not clinically, just experientially. Something about it makes the work feel less like work. Lasts up to 10 weeks on four reeds.

Smyth-sewn binding that lies flat when open without needing to be held down. Dot-grid pages on 90gsm ivory paper. The cover is cloth-wrapped board. No logo on the cover. No ribbon. Just the notebook.
